PANIKER special adhesive for car headliners
- heat-resistant adhesive
- the adhesive with extremely high adhesive strength, where conventional adhesives fail
- for use in the automotive industry for gluing car headliners
- application by means of a gun
- heat-resistant to + 130 degrees celsius
- capacity 5L
Spray parameters:
It is recommended to use a gun with a slightly larger nozzle than standard - approximately 2.0-2.2 mm. The product should be treated like any other contact adhesive - no special curing cycles are required.
Key principles for the use of high-temperature contact adhesives
Storage and preparation: Keep the drum tightly closed, at 15-25 °C. Shake or stir thoroughly before use.
Surface preparation: Remove foam residues and dust. The substrate must be dry, clean and stable.
Double-sided application: the contact adhesive needs to be spread evenly on both surfaces - both on the headliner shell and on the fabric.
Consumption: Approximate consumption is 0.5-1 l per running metre of roof. Spray from a distance of 40-50 cm, guiding the gun with even, overlapping strips.
Open time: Wait until the adhesive becomes tacky but does not form threads when touched with the finger.
Joining and pressing: Join the elements only once. Press or roll lightly - subsequent positioning will not be possible.
Curing time: The finished panel should lie flat (adhesive side up) for at least 12 hours in a cool place before installation in the vehicle interior.
Safety: Ensure good ventilation and use standard personal protective equipment when spraying.
