Corduroy is a fabric with distinctive, parallel ridges running along its length. It is a fabric strongly associated with the 1970s and 1980s, when it was used for the seats and side panels in popular European, Japanese and American car models. Today, it is one of the most sought-after fabrics for restoration projects, as it allows the authentic atmosphere of the era’s interiors to be recreated.
