Why SwiftCool?
Most of our customers choose this contact adhesive when they want absolute certainty and reliability. SwiftCool is one of the strongest adhesives of its type - it has extremely high temperature resistance and very strong adhesion, making it ideal for the most demanding applications.
Spray parameters: It is recommended to use a gun with a slightly larger nozzle than standard - approximately 2.0-2.2 mm. The product should be treated like any other contact adhesive - no special curing cycles are required.
Key principles for the use of high-temperature contact adhesives
-
Storage and preparation: Store the drum tightly closed, at 15-25 °C. Shake or stir thoroughly before use.
-
Surface preparation: Remove foam residues and dust. The substrate must be dry, clean and stable.
-
Double-sided application: Contact adhesive needs to be spread evenly on both surfaces - both on the headliner shell and on the fabric.
-
Consumption: Approximate consumption is 0.5-1 l per running metre of roof. Spray from a distance of 40-50 cm, guiding the gun in even, overlapping strips.
-
Open time: Wait until the glue becomes tacky but does not form threads when touched with the finger.
-
Joining and pressing: Join the elements only once. Press or roll lightly - subsequent positioning will not be possible.
-
Curing time: The finished panel should lie flat (adhesive side up) for at least 12 hours in a cool place before installation in the vehicle interior.
-
Safety: Ensure good ventilation and use standard personal protective equipment when spraying.
